I loved using the water pik for 2 weeks and then it didn't work. I called the company and they are sending me a new one under warranty, so hopefully I just got a lemon and the next one will last longer. I did enjoy using it and it was not so forceful to make my gums bleed. It takes a bit of practice to get it into the right position, but really shoots the food out.
Pros: cleans between teeth, easy to fill, easy to charge and operate

The 1st Sonicare Airfloss lasted just over a year before it clogged. They cheerfully replaced it under the warranty.
It seems to be a bit too powerful, causing gums to bleed. You need to be very careful not to hit the gums with the water force. Also, careful not to have tongue behind the teeth you are cleaning.
It's like a power washer for your teeth.

I bought this flosser on the recommendation of my dentist but was extremely disappointed when the first one stopped working after I used it for a week. The unit would not turn on even though I made sure I was operating it properly and it was fully charged with the green light indicator on. I figured I must have gotten a bad unit and I returned it and got another one. This one also stopped working after about four days. I gave up and returned the unit. I also found that the reservoir made it a little awkward to hold while pressing the on button and manipulating it around my mouth.
Pros: i liked the fact that it was a self contained unit
Cons: uncomfortable to hold and press the on button at, the same time.
