I had a problem when my first one quit working, but it was promptly replaced. Thanks to your wonderful employees, I didn't have to go long without the Air Floss. My hygienist on my last visit was very impressed with the results of my use of the Air Floss. In fact I wasn't aware of the Air Floss until noticing one on display in her office. I asked her about it, and her recommendation is the reason that I bought the first one.
This product was recommended by my son who has used the Philips Sonicare AirFloss Interdental product for the last year. He said he felt he had better dental checkups because he had been using the Philips AirFloss device. On his recommendation I bought it for my grandson. He does not seems to mind flossing every night with the AirFloss as he did with regular flossing.
[Employee of philipsglobal] I have owned this product for a little over 6 months, but I am on my third device. The first one failed after about one month; it ceased to operate when the activation button was pressed, and it emitted a high-pitched squeal. I returned the first device to the store for a replacement. The replacement lasted about four months, then the activation button locked up and would not operate. The good folks at Philips mailed me a replacement, which I have been using for about one month. I can only hope this device continues to work. When it does work, it performs as advertised. It flosses between my teeth in one minute or less, and it does an extremely thorough job. One additional design issue is that the door for the mouthwash chamber sometimes does not close completely after I fill the chamber, and mouthwash leaks out overnight at the hinge. Also, the capacity of the chamber is very small, and it doesn't hold very much mouthwash. I think Philips has a fine product, but it could use some engineering improvements.
So far this one is great. The original one had a bad O/O switch.

The original one had an intermittent on/off switch, after about a month of use. I suspect it got water in the switch (use it in the shower). Anyway, Phillips sent out a replacement immediately (no questions ask and no cost to me) and it has worked perfectly.
One design suggestion might be to increase the reservoir capacity.
I've been seeing a periodontist for some time and at my last visit he commented about a improvement in my gums and all I changed was using the flosser on a regular basis. I have been using this for a couple of years and recently had to replace the worn out///defective unit. The new unit is working fine.
I had the earlier version of the Sonicare Air Floss, and loved it. This one has some improvements in water delivery with multiple bursts per button push, and it seems to do a more complete job.
There was a rough start in that the original unit had to go back on warranty return - but the warranty process was seamless and expedient. All but forgotten - the replacement works flawlessly.
