I was sceptical about how the bursts of air would help with food between the teeth and to help with plaque. I've been using the Philips electric toothbrush and the air burst flosser. My mouth has never felt so clean. I can get it in all parts of my mouth

My wife and I have been using the Sonicare for 2 months and find it does the job it says it will do.
I have no negatives about the unit but I would like it to have a larger water reservior ! I have to fil it twice to clean upper and lower teeth

I've had four Airfloss units, but only purchased two. the others replaced units that stopped charging after a year but under the two-year warranty. Philips is great with living up to its guarantee. Unfortunately, it really needs to be in the case of Airfloss. My original unit, looking rather shabby, is still the best I've had. Just recently, I discovered I can no longer find nozzle replacements, because Philips has introduced the Airfloss PRO, with a different nozzle and different pulsing system. Because the new nozzle has a flat, not pointed tip, it doesn't clean nearly as well.
Pros: modern sleek design, first model cleaned very well
Cons: new model not as good at basic cleaning, short rechargeable life, messy with water spilling

I love this product but Philips has not gotten the kinks out of it. I have had it replaced three times in about eight months. I am not misusing or abusing the product. I only use Philips' mouth rinse in it and have not dropped it or otherwise damaged it. The dentist raves about the results it is producing, but I think Philips will not replace it a forth time!

Cons: very low durability

On recommendation, I purchased this unit from my dentist for helping with the beginnings of periodontal disease. I was always under the impression Philips made quality products. This product has definitely changed my mind. My unit has been replaced THREE times! The first one stopped working within a month. The second lasted less than two months. The third one lasted six months. Thankfully, there's a warranty! They just stop working and only emit a high pitch whining sound. SO discouraging. Total waste of money! If I could have given it a negative star I would!
Cons: does't last long
