Had the earlier version and loved it. Unfortunately it started leaking, hence the new purchase. The one I recently bought has significantly less pressure than the one I replaced. If I get too close to a tooth and not a spacing between the teeth, the air flosser shuts down and I have to restart it. I don't like the rubber open tip either. Sometimes I think if a product works well, don't "fix it". I do not like this newer product at all. Wish it was returnable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had three from the original design to the new model. All quit working as the pressure button that makes it squirt has stuck and no longer operates. i do have one of the original that still work however this was my wifes and she hardly ever used. The concept is tremendous and it does floss but only when working.
Pros: for me it flosses better than string, new model has 3 spray selection
Cons: stops working way too early in life cycle, new model does not have a shut off, difficult to remove spray head

This is a quick way to floss each day. Flossing is easy with the product and I tend to use it daily. My Dentist recommended it and reviewed the product at my last cleaning.

I like this product because I can floss without cutting my gums. It leaves my mouth so refreshed that I usually only have to rinse with the Sonic mouthwash afterwards. My only problem is finding the Sonic mouthwash. Do you recommend an alternative?

I am very happy with my Philips Sonicare AirFloss Interdental/Rechargeable AirFlosser. My original one died on me after 2 yrs. but I had the extra 6 month coverage that Philips offered when I purchased the first one so I was covered. Philips replaced both the handle and charger free of charge which was great. I use it daily.
Pros: philips replaced free leaking handle on 1st one.
Cons: the first one leaked at the filling station door
