[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea behind the air flosser is a great one but in my opinion the execution leaves a lot to be desired with regards to how well it works. I'm a guy with large hands so I find it hard to get the string between my molars when flossing and so I've been using a water-pick for a few years now and it works quite well at getting around the back teeth and below the gum line; this however just seems to be good at giving you the impression of cleaning between teeth. Based on the cost of this unit and a comparably priced water pick I'd suggest you go the other route. While the water pick is messy it does work which is something that I can't say for this.
Pros: ease of use, easily reaches the back teeth, clean (as compared to other models)
I am a dentist of 30+ years, so I get to see first hand the effectiveness of many products. This product is well thought out and works quite well. It satisfies the part of flossing that will improve gum health and prevent periodontal disease. For this it deserves 5 stars. It doesn't fully replace flossing because it doesn't break the contact between the teeth as floss does, this is important to reduce the cavities that commonly start at the contact point, an unreachable area with all but floss. So, here it gets zero stars. Philips is correct it does replace flossing in one sense but they are not stating the whole truth. In order to reduce the decay shortcoming Philips could recommend a fluoride rinse be used in the unit, but it doesn't quite replace flosses anti-decay ability in it's entirety. Flossing is highly recommended in addition. There is such a large overlap that use of either (floss or air flosser) on an every other day basis should be adequate for most everyone. For those that want an exceptional regimen, floss, brush and follow up with the air flosser using a fluoride rinse in the reservoir. Lastly, Philips should address the issue of breakage, an all too common problem with this unit, in their defense they do offer a two and a half year warranty, this should be thought of as an expendable product that will need frequent replacement, registering and getting the warranty is useful.
Easy to use. Best if used with Listerine Mouthwash Have had the product for approx. 30 days and love it. Definitely cleans out the food particles in between your teeth and gum lines. This will definitely keep your mouth look and feel fresh, clean and white.
My first AirFloss was a gift from my mother. I loved it, but it only lasted a year. I then purchased the more standard type of basin/hose type water flosser which was ok. Only thing is, didn't find myself using it as regularly as I had my previous AirFloss. I also have a hard time flossing with dental floss (due to stiff fingers) and was very inconsistent with that method. So I recently purchased another AirFloss as I do have dental issues and need to stay on top of things. I love this thing as it is super convenient, does the job and is so easy to use at least once a day or more. So thanks for this product!
Pros: fast convenient and does the job!, really cleans well between teeth
Overall the product helps to keep your teeth very clean

Product is ok but it does not sopecify the names of mouthwash to use and why it can’t be used for side teeth Instruction for use is not well written Also availability of the brushes where am I meant to get them I don’t know
Pros: feels fresh and clean after using, does not take long to clean
Cons: which mouthwash can be used oral or lister o, why only front teeth
