Very poor longevity

I have been through three air flossers in less than five years. Each unit has just quit working. It appears to fully charge the battery, all of the lights come on. But as soon as I press the discharge button the lights go out and the unit turns off. Possibly shorting out? After the first one quit working, I was extremely careful with the replacement as to not get any excess water or mouthwash spilled and NEVER have immersed it in any liquid. The second one died faster than the first. And the third one faced the same fate.... I really did like the air floss when it worked. But I’m done with spending time and money replacing every year or so.
Pros: convenient and easy to use, good performance when they work
Cons: very poor life span, not waterproof/resistant?
This is an amazing product. I love that it is so streamlined and easy to use. I have traveled with it. It held its charge for my entire trip. I love that I can use mouth wash intstead of water. I have recommended it to so many of my friends & family!! BTW, I have been a user of Phillips products for over 25 yrs. it is my go-to company for oral health
Pros: can use mouth wash instead of water., takes up little space., does what it’s supposed to do!
A good flosser. A bit delicate, but easy to use once you figure out proper placement at the gumline. Let the flosser work, you don't need to apply pressure to the flossing tip. It has a small footprint on the vanity and it holds a charge well. The flossing function is very consistent Still looking for a non-slip grip on these hand-held devices as they can get slippery when wet. (I had asked about such a design change several years ago. I also use a sonic brush, that for some reason doesn't appear to have ever been registered), I am running out of rubber bands to wrap the handle!
The customer service people are wonderful! But the first two just stopped working, replaced, but I was told that this is the last time. I lost interest and never even used the third one.

I should have had braces as a child but did not. My teeth are wedged at various points and I am unable to use floss. I have used an airfloss since they came on the market. . . I now spend more time at the dentist getting xrays and the dental exam than I do having the hygienist clean my teeth. . . I will ALWAYS use an air floss from now on. . . This review is for the current item I purchased to replace the one.
Pros: ease of use, flosses for you, no broken floss strands between your teeth
I hate flossing and I have a permanent retainer so anything that helps me floss is great. My only negative is the size of the reservoir I have to fill it a few times while using it which is annoying.
Pros: works great, not having to floss anymore, easy to use
I order this in November. It worked for a month and then stopped working. Warranty provided a replacement unit. Very easy to work with the customer service department. Replacement unit stopped working in three weeks. When I press the button the power is turned off. I am debating whether to try customer service again. They were very helpful last time, but obviously this is a defective product so why should I replace a second lemon with at third. DO BOTHER BUYING THIS PRODUCT. IT DOES NOT WORK.
