Attractive and does the job

I’m pleased to have a new oven and it looks great, cooks evenly and is true to temperature. I withheld one star because it takes considerably longer to preheat than I believe it should.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible decision

I bought a GE oven model JT5000SF6SS ABOUT 2 and a half years ago. Due to construction delays I owned it for 9 months before I could install it, using up the majority of the warranty. It is rarely used as I am a single person and only use it from time to time. 2 months ago it was completely dark which ended up being a failed control board. $365 later it worked, for a month. Now it turns on but never gets hot. The display reads 100 degrees although I can hear the relays opening and closing. So do I spend more $$$ on another repair or give up on GE and buy something more reliable? I am writing this as a warning to others that believe GE is a reliable brand
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smells like burning wire

The oven but we started smelling a electric short smell and kept looking for where the smell was coming from and then yesterday the stove was smoking and again you could smell the wires burning, I flipped the breaker and today while I had time I flipped the breaker back on but no short after 3 to 4 hrs it was smoking again now it stopped and wife used it for supper, not sure how much longer it will last

Sleek design

GE products are built to last. Our last Oven was used and loved for over 20 years. This oven is very similar to our previous oven and fitted exactly into the same spot in the kitchen. Very clean, sleek design and so far no issues at all.

Such a disappointment and cost a lot of money to have! Have had to replace the control panel three times since 2017. Don’t use oven no more than ten times a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
