I bought this oven to replace a 12 year old GE Trivection wall oven. I've only had it a few days, but like it much better than my previous oven. We seldom used the Trivection feature, so it wasn't necessary on this one. The JT5000 heats quickly and cooks evenly. I looked at other manufacturers, but overall the GE was the best value.

Just got it before New Year, finished installation today. Tried one time for baking rib dishes. It did a good job.

Good Oven

Bought two of these ovens for a kitchen remodel. Easy to use and works well so far. The only complaint I have is the timer feature. It is complicated to use and gives no indication that it is counting down once started. For example is you set if for 5 min and press strart it stays on 5 for a full minute, then drops to 4. The time doesn't count down in seconds only minutes. So until you master exactly how to work the timer you have to be careful as you may think the time is working and its not.

Replaced our dated and non-convection with this one. We love it. Crispy fries, perfect pizzas, baked ziti and roasted chicken. All taste perfectly cooked, no hot spots. Oven reaches temp quickly too. Nice programmable features that we look forward to using. Finish is stunning and goes well with other black stainless appliances we have.

Just got my new oven yesterday and every time I try to use the timer, I get an "ERR" sign. Unbelievable.

I love my new oven! It’s so big and works very well. My two comments are: It takes a while to heat up. I had to get used to that. My old oven was tiny and heated up faster. I baked rolls and the bottom rack had very dark bottoms. I thought it would bake more evenly. Lesson learned.
