It's an oven . . .

Happy with the overall product. Door sometimes does not stay fully closed so always making sure to PUSH hard prior to baking. Alarm does go off it isn't closed all the way or "pops" open a bit.

So good. Wife backed all day yestetday both regular oven and convection, happy with both.
Oven replaced a 27 year old Dacor that has always been a problem.

Just put this in to replace a conventional oven. Wife is learning to cook with convection, but has baked cornbread and home made biscuits in it with great results.

Nice looking oven....

I just had this delivered yesterday and installed today by my electrician. It fit in the opening from my previous (and beloved,still working 17 year old GE white oven);
we just had to recess the electrical box due to the rear of the oven box being a bit deeper. The door latch was in the locked position so I couldn't shut the door...after a bit of online research I figured that out and got it to release. Once able to shut the door, I fired this baby up to 425 degrees,that took about 7 minutes, and I cooked a dinner of fish and chips perfectly! I love that the racks are porcelain and not shiny, and the outside is so great looking in the slate color. It's early yet so I hope it performs as great as my previous GE oven which had never needed any service, so we will see. I think the door gasket is a bit spongey but I hope that flattens out a bit over time, and the glass front controls are super sensitive, but I can get used to that.
Maybe after I use it awhile I can give it 5 stars, but not until I assess it's self cleaning capabilities.
