Cannot use self cleaning

This oven will stop heating after using the "self-cleaning" cycle which will require a service call to replace the "high limit temp switch" which is located behind the oven. we found this out too late and then searched the internet which shows that there are many complaints about this issue. And the switch is expensive.

The oven looks nice, not at all complicated to use. However, the oven door does not shut tightly and the oven itself takes about 15 minutes to preheat to a 350 degree temperature.

GE Convection Wall Oven

Unhappy with the replacement I received for my Elite Kenmore Convection Wall Oven. 1) Takes "forever" to warm up to appropriate temperature 2) Does not indicate 25 degrees lower when convection in use 3) Uneven convection - top cookies burned when others were under-done 4) This oven is located below my cooktop so when I'm cooking, it automatically senses someone there and turns "on." I'm constantly turning it off. 5) Door does not shut tight. I'm constantly pushing it forward to shut tightly which not sure if it does help 6) Temperature registers lower than the thermometer I have in the oven Not happy at all. Wish I would have taken the money on the replacement insurance and purchased a better quality oven.

Doesn’t bake evenly. Temps aren’t accurate. Burns food. Having to replace a $2000 oven after 3.5 years.

Too bad you only have a one year warranty on this garbage. Within one year we had major issues along with the in wall microwave that we upgraded to for our new home. Now that we are past the one year mark we get to pay more. It takes over an hour to heat up, after a self cleaning, the door lock stays on and won’t let us use it. Never again GE

Terrible product
