Need better quality control

Light bulb didnt work. Had to take a few things apart to plug in the connection to the light bulb. After that it works well. I know its the cheapest model but not including a button to turn the light on while the door is shut is idiotic.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Happy with the simple install. Replaced my previous GE oven and it fit as advertised. Waiting for the built in microwave to be delivered next weekend.

Great oven, but no external light switch.

I have had this oven for about two weeks. I am delighted with its appearance and performance. However, even though it has a large oven window, there is no external oven light switch. This makes no sense, since the oven has a large window.

Strong appearance with great features

I installed this oven back in August of 2013. So far all is very good. Great features but does tend to take a bit to warm up compared to my older GE Profile model. A note when installing. The old model had the power supply on the upper right as you were looking at the back of the unit. This model had the power supply on the upper left. To install i had to manually move the junction box.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No oven light

This oven takes forever to heat up to temperature, and has NO oven light.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the increase in space of our new built in oven as well as the slick front view.
Only wish there was an inside light to turn on when the oven is closed

Past Experience with GE Products

I have purchased GE products in the past. I have a 1967 GE refrigerator that I love and is still in good shape that I use. My only complaint with this oven that I purchased is that it does not have a light that I can turn on so that I can view what is being cooked. The light only comes on when the door is opened. It never dawned on me that the oven would not have a light in the oven to turn on.
I would recommend this to a friend!
