Great features but poor screen

My 2 oldest daughters love their LeapPad 2's so we bought our son an Ultra for Christmas. All 3 children loved playing with it but had problems from the beginning with the softer screeen. Even my husband and I have difficulty. We have read the FAQ page and have tried using only the tip of the sylus (difficult for 4 year olds) but when any pressure is placed on the screen it leaves a streak of light. It sometimes doesn't work at all. My children continue to attempt to play with it but get frustrated and end up going back to the LeapPad 2. With all the wonderful features, I would love to rate the LeapPad Ultra higher, but unfortunately if the screen is difficult to use, I have to rate it average.
Pros: Educational, Good for on-the-go play, Grows with child
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product is a little heavy than others. It is so good if you can reduce the weight to prevent broken
