Great learning game, even for 3 year olds. Some of the recipes actually look pretty good to try for real!

Fun game with educational aspects

My 3yr old son loves this game, we had the demo that came with the tablet and he would just cook the same 3 recipes (that came with the demo) over and over again, so eventually I bought the full game. He laughs at the parrot's interjections at the time, he's a fun character. There is some math involved in some of the recipes, our only complaint about that aspect is that the difficulty level ramps up pretty quickly and it's already gone beyond what we would reasonably expect him to do.
Pros: Fun for kids, Grows with child, Good for on-the-go play, Educational

My 2 year old son discovered the demo version on his LeapFrog tablet while browsing. He seemed to enjoy it once he figured out what to do so I purchased it. He is doing great playing the game and is always asking "I help you" cook. I would recommend Cooking! Recipes on the Road. It's easy to learn and teaches kids basic cooking skills.

My 5 year old said, "it's hard to make things but that's ok because you can practice and get better. It's lots of fun."

A good learning tool

My 7 1/2 year old loves this game. He is learning math and wants to try a few of the recipes that he has learned on the game.

A must have game

This is a must-have game for leappad owners.
Strengths:
- Very entertaining (and funny) voice acting.
- The educational element is hidden in a clever way. You need to create delicious dishes using the correct amount/proportion of ingredients which involves addition/subtraction/fractions/etc. If you cook the dish in the right way can earn more money in tips, so kids are motivated to follow the complete the problems correctly.
- High re-playability with new dishes and other things to unlock.
