I bought this antenna to improve the reception in our WR 400 weather radio, as soon as I plugged in the external antenna reception went from 1 to 2 bars all the way to five bars without even taking the antenna outside, are used to zip ties to hold the parts together and did not remove the adhesive, are used a piece of double back tape to attach it to the wall in a location that has good reception now I have five bars full reception all the time with the intern or indoors

Very happy with this antenna. Brings in Norman, OK so much clearer. Base antenna on the radio works but sometimes you could hear background static. This antenna gets rid of that

When it works, it works well. But it's a struggle, as when I plug it in the radio the connection is erratic and I have to wobble it around and secure it in place for it to work. Right now it works, as long as I don't move the radio

This was bought for my WR400 Midland weather radio, which is an excellent unit. It’s placement isn’t near a window, however, so reception with its own antenna was about 3-4 bars.
With this antenna I get a steady 5 bars, full reception strength. Commercial FM reception is also improved. The cable is long enough that the radio can be a convenient distance from a window.
Only challenge was the horizontal sliding window itself, on the second floor, making installation difficult. Plus it’s double pane, and thick for Florida hurricane impact resistance, not ideal for its kind of glass mounting.
So I improvised, using a large size, clear plastic upright menu holder, like you see on restaurant tables. I bought it from a commercial kitchen supply store where I shop for some of my other home needs.
I put the self-stick antenna mount and receiver on it, and simply stood the holder on the flat inside window sill. The antenna is right up against the window, and functions perfectly. Being clear the holder passes light and casts no shadow on the drapes, basically invisible. And I can always relocate it if I ever want to move the radio to another room.
I’m very satisfied with this antenna and its performance.

(Oh, apparently that's not good enough, so here are some more words. I'm doing you a favor by writing this in the first place, so why does it matter how much or how little I rattle on in ambiguous elaboration about how relevant your products are to my life?
There, is that good enough for your codemonkeys?)
