Definately upgrade to this version

I just purchased this software as an upgrade from 2009. I love this product, it is so much better than any previous trip programs, plus if you get the GPS unit, you've gotten a great deal. I however do not recommend going from 2010 to 2011. Skip a year.
I've had this product in many versions and 2011 is the best so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I ordered Microsoft Streets and Trips 2011 with my new touchsmart 610q, and haven't been able to open it. I contacted HP about the problem and they told me to call Microsoft. When I call Microsoft, they told me that I need to contact HP and have them remove some service pack 1, which may fix the problem...I would rather this program not pop up on the recommended software page when I ordered the computer. I may re-review this program if/when I'm able to open it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Planner

The Streets and Trips offers a much richer planning package than the on-line versions such as Google. For short little trips on-line services are fine but for more complex trips...they don't work as well...that's when you need something more robust like Streets & Trips
