Just fixed roast. Oven off. 10 seconds and boom, front glass explodes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Probably the worst electric stove ever produced. Tried to simmer stock on left rear and turned it to under lowest setting and still was boiling. You cannot turn the heat down on any burner.

Door glass panel has now fallen out twice!

We bought this stove on September 1, 2017. The glass door panel had to be replaced 6 months later, on March 22, 2018 as it slid out of place. At that time the GE repair person used double-sided black tape to repair it. On September 1, 2022 the glass panel slid off the door again. Repaired the same way it was repaired in 2018, but the tape only held for 5 days and the panel has again slid out of the door. Double-sided tape to repair a critical portion of the door does not work as a repair solution. This appears to be a design flaw, in that there is no ridge or lip upon which the glass panel could rest when it is reattached. The oven is unusable without this panel.

BEST LOOKING

I love my stove and oven. The stove is very elegant with the glass cook top and sleek design. The only design flaw is the openings around the clock cover allow grease and other items to gunk it up and can accumulate and get gross.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We love this flattop stove/oven, so easy to clean compared to drip pan elements. Heats up quickly and lets you know when the top is still hot after it is turned off. We were so fortunate to have this in our apartment when we rented our unit.
