The oven and the burners heat up quickly. I have to be careful because everything cooks fast and even. My old stove didn't do that. This is a great product!!

Not the same size as previous model

I bought this range to replace a GE model JSP69BVBB, another slide in 30" range, but it is 1 3/8" shorter than the old one so there is a large gap between the back of the new range cooktop and my granite backsplash. GE does not make a horizontal filler piece for this model to cover the gap, so I'm having a granite spacer made. Thankfully, I have a piece of the original backsplash left over, but GE should have designed a filler piece that matches the glass cooktop for those of us replacing an older GE slide in range with a newer GE model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Installation Problem

I had to install the appliance myself since the range did not fit into the cabinet. I had the specs called for but it was not accurate enough. I had to get someone to cut my counter top so the appliance could fit, modify the footings to lower the range, and now, probably have to caulk the range top that sits on the counter top. I have not used the range yet to
