LOVE IT!!!

This thing is so awesome... for less than I would spend on a 55" or plus size big screen TV... I've got a picture that fills up an entire white wall in my apartment. I can say I've got my neighbor totally jealous... we watch LA Kings games and its just freaking amazing. It was super easy to set up too... within minutes I had it feeding out the picture from my computer with an HDMI cable... next step with be a surround sound package! I couldn't be any happier with this product... I'm one happy dude.

Great Projector

The fan is a little loud, however when you are watching a movie or playing the Wii you would never notice it. The projector does put off a lot of heat also, but it is no more than a typical projector. The picture is GREAT! I have the projector showing a 10' 8" diagonal picture and it looks crystal clear (I am also using a HDMI cable). I have recommended to several people to purchase the 705HD, great projector for the money.

Great Buy! Value & Performance!

I've had this projector for nearly 2 years now, and I think only now will I have to think about getting a new bulb. Granted I don't have a TV subscription and use only for streaming sports, movies and gaming, it still seems to have lasted quite some time. I love this projector. Highly recommended especially for your first one.
Pros: Great color, size, easy to set up, multiple inputs, settings that help control how the screen is set up so you have placement options. Relatively small, pretty lightweight.
Cons: after 1.5 yrs the fan was a bit louder than before. Newer units may have more connectivity options, but this one has enough! When the unit is tilted severely, the sharpness of the picture varies from top to bottom a little, but nearly unnoticeable.

Still going strong

I purchased this projector as a Christmas Gift for myself in 2009 and after 3 years it's still going strong. I only had 1 minor issue with it.
After owning it for about 2 or 3 months, the front leveling leg stopped operating correctly. I called Epson and the person I spoke to was very friendly and advised me to ship it back for a replacement. I was told to keep my present Projector until the replacement arrived. Once the replacement arrived (which was shipped next day air) it included a postage paid shipping tag for FedEx.
I have never come close of dealing with a company that stands behind their product half as well as Epson does, and a two year warranty at that!!!! When the day comes where this Projector needs replaced I will look no further than Epson. I have recommended many friends to purchase an Epson Projector if they want to get the most out of their Money.

Does the job!

I bought this show videos and slides in the Psychology courses I teach and I am very pleased. Set up is easy and quick and the picture is perfect even when I don't have a screen.

I researched many of the projectors out there and wanted one that I could show movies outdoors by the pool. After reading all the reviews and info I could about several machines I settled on this one. I am not disappointed! I have used it to show several movies using just a painters canvas drop cloth as a screen. The brightness and picture quality are unbelievable. I also have shown movie on the side of my fathers barn. We used a massive 20x16 tarp as a screen. Picture still looked GREAT!

Great price for the projector. Not the best picture and the fan is loud. Zoom distance is very limited, but we are overall happy with this purchase.

PowerLite Home Cinema 705HD Projector

This unit has an amazing picture and seems to be very user friendly. I would recommend this unit to anybody that asks. I have this projecting onto a 92 inch screen and the quality is better than my tv's in my home.
