I have six Alen purifiers

I have six Alen purifiers and love them all. I have some small room size and two larger ones. They have significantly improved my home and work air quality. I recently gave several to my daughter so I needed to buy another for my home. I could not be happier and they have helped keep my asthma under control.

It has only been a few weeks since I received your product. One time it shut off on it own-I don't know what that all about.Other than that it appears to be working ok.

Great Air Purifiers

I bought one air purifier initially and have now purchased 3 more . I bought 3 FIT50 models and one larger model. I like them because there's no weird smell like you get from some purifiers when you first turn them on, and they do seem to be lessening the amount of dust in my house. I live in an older property that seems to get a lot of dust. Prior to the air purifier, I would dust in my bedroom and the next day it would look like I had not dusted for a week or two. Now, it has diminished considerably. I am excited to see how much dust it will eliminate in other areas of my home.

I'm a big believer of using an air purifier and, after researching a number of other brands, Alen products are the ONLY ones I would recommend. Since April 2019 I have purchased Fit50s, T500 towers, and the 45i for friends, family members and me. The health benefits other reviewers describe are absolutely true, and once you use these, you won't want to be without them. They are workhorses, and you choose the machine that fits the size of the space you want covered and the type of filter that best suits your needs -- in other words, there is not a one size that fits all! If you have pets or a smoker at home, or have had mold issues, for instance, the company's customer service will help you find the machine and the filter that will work best for your needs. Changing the filter is easy, and with a lifetime warranty you can relax that you've bought a well-made product with the guarantee of always having replacement filters. You can even customize the front panel if you are trying to make the machine more of an integral part of your decor. Frankly, I haven't seen another company that even comes close to the quality, choice, and warranty that Alen offers. I don't work for the company; I just like their stuff!! Good work, Alen!

Powerful air purifier for extreme Colorado wildfire smoke

We live in Colorado and had an enormous historic wildfire in our county that filled our home with visible heavy smoke. At one point the smoke alarm went off. We were all coughing and had sore throats and burning eyes, and it hurt to breathe. The Alen Air Purifier filter we chose was designed for smoke and arrived almost immediately.
The air was visibly better within hours after we set it up. The next morning it was raining ashes outside with extreme smoke and health warnings, but we had no symptoms and when indoors couldn’t even tell that there was smoke outside. We have run it continuously since it arrived. The machine is powerful and works hard, the indicator goes to red for awhile anytime the door is opened, but goes back to blue quickly. I don’t mind the noise it makes, even while sleeping.
My daughter has the same purifier with the allergy filter for her apartment and hasn’t had an asthma attack since she got it. I was amazed when she changed the filter the first time how much the old filter had removed from the air, as it had a thick layer of dust and particles.
I am very impressed with this purifier and am very grateful it arrived so quickly during this crisis. I know it protected our health.

Battling California Air Quality

Our air purifier arrived a week into the West Coast month of wildfire smoke/hazardous air quality. We have run it constantly (it's designed for that anyway) and the auto mode has taken care of the variety of air quality levels. Fan runs quiet to barely noticeable in Turbo mode. The color indicator keeps you appraised of the quality of the air in the room and the impact of letting in "fresh" air or not. Will be getting a second one for upstairs so I don't have to carry it up at night.
