DON'T PUT ANY MAGNETS OR PHOTOS ON THE DOORS!

It is a beautiful refrigerator and has a lot of space for a counter depth model. My only complaint is that the black shiny surface on the doors scratch very easily. I had put a few magnets on it along with a couple of photographs and when I moved these items there were these hair line scratches on the door. I tried to polish them out, but they are still there. The shiny surface seems to be very delicate. I now have a brand new refrigerator with scratches on it. I only wish someone had warned me about this like I am warning you.
Pros: lots of room.
Cons: scratches easily.

Problem Ice Maker

I have had my refrigerator for 6 months when the ice maker would not stop making ice. I mean it was coming out and not stopping when you took your cup away. We pushed the stop ice button to solve the problem and called for service. The repairman ordered two different parts, both of which were useless, so they had to order me a whole new refrigerator. I was glad this was still under warranty, so I would recommend anyone thinking about this unit to buy the extra warranty too. Other than this problem, I really like it and hope this does not happen again.

Upscale looking, quiet product

I have used this product for over a year with no problems or repairs. The ice maker is not large but works perfectly for the two of us. A large family would likely push the ice maker beyond it's capacity and you would be waiting for ice. For our purposes we love this counter depth refrigerator. It is so quiet you wonder if it ever runs. We like the LED lighting, very efficient and up to date. This model has very clean lines as the doors hide the hinges, wheels etc. completely. The single point water/ice dispenser works perfectly. The controls and data presented externally are easy to operate and read. Changing the water filter is very easy. The wine rack is a nice feature. The wire storage rack on the door is great for small bottles of hot sauce etc. Lots of drawers and shelf features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The counter-depth design allows this refrigerator to fit neatly into the alcove between the doorway and the built-in wall oven. The floating-glass black finish matches every other appliance in the kitchen. The features that are most appreciated are the in-the-door water/ice dispenser; the external digital display to adjust controls; the 2-minute door alarm to signal an open door; the interior LED lighting; the removable wine rack; and, the energy-star rating. This refrigerator exceeded all expectations and I anticipate many years of quality service from it.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, great features

Love, love, love this 'fridge.
The only issue I have with it is that the drawers don't really open far enough/ it is a bit difficult to pull them the entire way out.

The styling is superb, the LED lighting is great, solid shelving, drawers could be somewhat more rigid, the ice bucket is solidly made and easy to remove and replace however being on the door the ice has more of a chance to stick together if door left open too long, there is a lot of room given the size of the fridge, very quiet in operation, temperature is very accurate. Only drawbacks are that the ice and water pushbuttons get in way of easily seeing the filling of containers with ice or water. This is my second fridge in two days, the first one would not cool down the freezer or fridge portions; luckily the supplier had a second fridge, this is the one I am critiquing.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, accurate temperature, led lighting, quiet operation
Cons: first fridge failed first day; was replaced.

I purchased this refrigerator Dec 2011. In May of 2012, I started noticing I had food spoiling. Placed a thermometer inside a glass of water, inside the refrigerator, and found a discrepancy of 8-10 degrees from the outside door panel reading. Several sensors have been replaced along with the main circuit board. The main display started going bad in July and was replaced. I'm being told that it is not repairable and I'm seeking a refund. I have two other Samsung products in the house and I've been very pleased with their operation, but the refrigerator has not been a good experience. I will not purchase another Samsung appliance.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

ice and water maker are great you can crush the ice or cubes. The freezer has a lot of rooms for all different foods You can also get ice from inside the box also. The refrige part has so many drawers for veg fruit and the door holds evertthing that you may want it to hold.
