Overall - Buy!

I bought these to replace my JayBirds which I treated with not so much care and therefore damaged. Overall these are a great fit. They fit nicely in the ear and stay there during workouts, etc. I love that you can see how much battery life you have left on on your phone screen. It's a great reminder to charge the headphones, although I must say battery life is absolutely amazing with these! I charge them a lot less than my JayBirds. I have two complaints with these: 1) I wish they were louder (although the sound quality is amazing!) and 2) I wish I were able to change tracks (forward or backward) via the controls. Other than that I say for the price, you can't beat the quality!

Great sound....poor design

I've had these earbuds for a few weeks and while I love not having a wire going to my phone, and the sound is fantastic (as usual for JBL products), there is no way to keep these on my ear while working out. I've used them to run and they keep falling out every few minutes, which is extremely annoying. With that, they become useless for me as I bought them just to work out. It would be great if JBL developed some clips for these to keep them on my ear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hoped for Better

I wanted Bluetooth and compact, and I got that. Pairing and use simple. Controls work well, even with 'non-i' devices (e.g., works with my Windows phone) - something other manufacturers can't seem to figure out how to do! Would have expected better sound from JBL: nice clear highs and mids, but anything below about 150 Hz disappears. The charging mechanism can only be described as a "contraption"; it works, but I'm not confident about its durability/longevity.

Good, but...

I bought my J46BT last week. The synchronism is perfect, and the sound is clean, without distortion. However, one negative point: I can't skip any music, or can't skip back through the 3 buttons of J46BT. These functions are very important if consider the bluetooth. There aren't any app that I'm able to use functions like "skip" using my J46BT?

I have had just about every sport bluetooth headset available. Original Jaybird Freedom, Jaybird Bluebud X, Tenqa Fit. These are probably the best. I had the Freedoms for years... and they work well. They just fail often and have to be replaced. They stop taking a charge. I had three pairs replaced under warranty... then they failed out of warranty and I looked for new ones. I will keep these. They aren;t perfect(no way to play or pause from the headset, and odd omission) but they sound good, the sound is not delayed(on the Tenqa fit there is a delay, which is frustrating when watching video) and the fit isn't bad. They are similar in fit to Jaybird Freedom... but lighter and they stay better. They are also half the price. I use the ear hooks leftover from my Jaybird Freedoms. You can buy theses hooks on Jaybird's website and are a must have. Without them these would not stay in my ear at all. The hooks for the Jaybird Bluebuds might actually fit this headset better but I don't still have those to try.
