Great headphones.

The headphones work great. Good sound quality. The microphone is clear. I love the wireless. Downside is the instruction manual is nearly useless. I tried finding better instructions on the website, but it's not available. Same useless manual. No useful YouTube video either. Got it figured out through trial and error.

Great Headphones, But.....

My 12 year-old daughter bought a headset. They worked great once we got them charged and paired with her phone. The only issue is with the USB charging cable. My wife vacuumed the cord and shredded one end. No problem, just get another cord I thought. Wrong! I ordered a new 3.5 mm cable on Amazon per the specs listed with the product. The specs are wrong. Its a 2.5 mm cord. No one carries it in stock and JBL does not sell cables online. The RadioShack where we purchased the headphones does not have these cables. So beware, lose or damage the charging cable and your going to have a difficult time finding a cable. So we will wait another month for a cable to ship from China. Thanks JBL for picking a odd size charging jack. #JBLmydaughterisdisapointed

Good price, average quality

Like everything else in Brazil, the products are more expensive than in the USA. At half the price I would buy the same product in the USA. It has a reasonable quality of sound, the bass is still weak, the treble with a little distortion when the volume of the music is too loud.

You do not need special drivers for this speaker. When it comes to Bluetooth, there are two different types of Bluetooth transmission, one for headset/talking on the phone, and another for stereo audio listening. You can have one without the other, or both. But your computer, if you want it to communicate with the E40BT headphones, MUST have the ability to transmit stereo audio Bluetooth. Most older computers don't have this ability, or they have it but have not been set up for it. And most laptops come setup for headset Bluetooth, but not Stereo Audio.
For example, I tried to connect my laptop to my Bluetooth speaker, on and off, for months. It never worked, and I couldn't understand why. Bluetooth was working on the laptop, but it wouldn't see my speaker. Then one day, on a whim, I went into my control panel and clicked on the Bluetooth icon. This began a complete setup wizard and installed everything necessary for Bluetooth Stereo Audio. After that, all was fine.
Please check your Bluetooth capability of your computer. If the computer does not have the hardware necessary to support STEREO AUDIO BLUETOOTH, this means the computer is not compatible with these speakers.

Terrible Overall

The headphones are possibly the least comfortable things I have stuck on my head and when connected to a Windows device via Bluetooth, it defaulted to and wouldn't change from what the Audio Manager calls "Telephone Quality", and it was telephone quality, if I must say, worst than telephone quality. I am so glad it didn't cost a dime to me.

Thank you for your review. I can understand your concern. This issue has to do with the settings in Windows and not the headphones itself. You may need to update your bluetooth drivers. A faulty driver causes the issue you are experiencing. Please contact your computer manufacturer for the correct drivers.
