I just recently bought the E40BT. I am not happy. The Quick Start Guide uses pictures only and is not comprehensive. After a pairing then turn off, more often than not re-pairing is required to get output. When attempting to repair, the device can't be discovered. NOT USER-FRIENDLY. Not a good choice,
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bluetooth is not working

The Bluetooth of my new E40BT is not turning on. I press the button and nothing happens. Any suggestion?
PS: the battery is fully charged.

Thought they were great at first

Bought mine in 2015 for my husband and they worked great until a week ago when one ear piece went out. Tried to sync it again but that didn't work. They are only a little over a year old. I'd hope they worked longer than that.

Instruction are very poor. I can t even understand how to turn it off! It keeps going. Why should use the same button to turni it on/off and for bluetooth? Why complicate something that coul be easy with two separate little buttons?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Where is the FULL Owners Manual ?

Your Quick Start Guide for the E40BT says in Step-2 there is a "Full owners manual" available at "jbl.com/E40BT", and shows that address on the screen of the laptop symbol in that step.
1 - that page is non existant (error 404)
2 - there is no 'Full Manual' listed in your document (manuals and specs) section.
Does this FULL Owners manual actually exist ?
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have to apoligise for a former bad review. It works very vell, switch it on and off without problem. It was me not understanding how it worked. Thereafter, i have to say, instructions are very poor and not very clear

Very disappointed with these headphones and the quality of JBL products after they stopped working on one side, apparently due to a common problem in the wires. The next time I buy headphones I will look for another, more reliable brand.
