Technically sound, but not comfort

Have been using this for a few weeks now. The headphones are good technically for talking on the phone via bluetooth, listening to music. Pairing was easy. The part that I didn't like is that after wearing it for a few minutes, it hurts my ear at the bottom. Since there is no way to adjust the ear muffs other than pulling it up or down, the padded area will pinch the bottom part of your ears

JBL E40BT Headphones

I have had my E40's for about 3 months now. They are awesome headphones. When I first used them I was shocked at how good the sound stage was.. excellent rendition.
I replaced my Audio Technica ATH-3 with these EB40Tafter 40 years.. There's a reputation on it's own.. Older guys will know what I am on about (ATH-3)..

Great

I bought this two weeks ago and have only used it about 6-8 hrs. I still haven't had to charge it up yet. The booklet that came with it is hard to understand but it wasn't hard to figure out how to use it. I think it will be a good headset. I like the idea that I don't have to have any cables to use it.

Excellent sound and bass -

If you need replacement aux or recharge cable search for 2.5mm male to USB jacks. I discovered this the hard way. Most stores do not carry them or are phasing them out. The jack to my laptop is 3.5mm. I have a lot of 3.5mm male jacks but no 2.5mm. I recommend ordering a spare set of jacks if you plan to use these headphones a lot. I recommend them as budget bluetooth headphones.
I purchased these in January 2016 from a different store.
Part of the plastic is disconnecting from the area where the jack is located. The separation does not interfere with playback or sound. At this price point, I was disappointed in the quality of the construction at the exact point where the headphones must be recharged - the specific area that would receive wear and tear.
The rest of the construction is great. The ear pads are soft and comfortable. I am able to hear outside sounds if someone speaks to me, but can clearly hear through the headphones only what I am connected to. I use these headphones primarily for online classes but movies and music sound great. The ear pieces bend in different directions which is exactly what I needed. The very top of the head phones are padded. The headphones squeeze tightly. After wearing them for a while, I forget that I am wearing them. I do not hear a lot of noises or hums when wearing them, but do hear outside noises like dogs drinking water or motorcycle noise when there is no music playing. This is not noise blocking.
When sound is playing, no one else can hear what I am listening to which is great. The play time is about 4 hours before it has to be recharged. I thought I would be able to listen using a jack but so far there is no sound when the headphones run out of power. I am unsure why.

Good Quality, but not loud enough

These are great sounding headphones they are not loud enough when "streaming" video or audio. You have to hold the power button for 5 seconds to get it to cut on. Am using the Galaxy Note 3, doesn't automatically connect when powering on. Always have to go into Bluetooth and select it. It does okay with calls, although answering a call or skipping a track can be selected from the headphones, it is just as easier to use the phone controls itself. For the price it is certainly just as comparable to the Beats Solo.

Good sound but volume is limited

Great design and good sound but at full volume on both the headphones and on my device it's still not very loud. I hate when I don't have full control over volume.
