Terrible WIFI Playback

I can watch a Netflix program on my Galaxy S3 without any issue in the same room as this blu ray player. This player barely loads a program (takes about 5 minutes) and when it does it starts buffering again after a few minutes (for another 5 minutes). I will be returning it in hopes that it is just a defective unit... but this has been a terrible experience.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outstanding little black box.

One of the great things that I like about this product, and all Samsung devices is the ease of integration into the home environment. Being a little older it takes me a little additional time to set up new equipment, but not this. It connected with no effort to the Smart Hub, it all talks with no effort, We love it!
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, networkable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good product, but more apps would make this an awesome player.
Also the manual does not have precise instructipns regarding updating the software.
I had to look up online how to get the Netflix app which I knew that updating the player to the latest version would do it.
These kind of things should be mentioned in the manual given that Netflix is a popular app.

Easiest installation and operation

This is our first Blue Ray Player and it is the easiest electronic device I have ever installed and operated. My wife and I are able to use this without reading an entire owners manual and searching online for how to info. We both love it.
Pros: Inexpensive, ease of operation, ease of installation, value many features, upgadeable

I love this product for the most part. It is compact and fits almost anywhere. Requires few wires and works great.
I am surprised and disappointed however at the decision not to include Amazon Prime in the streaming services available to connect to. I am also disappointed in the way this question was answered in the support faq's.
Most people asking the question know what features their product has and are well aware that it doesn't have prime but time and time again they are given the pat answer, ...If you would like to know what features are available go here.............
That is not an answer.
Samsung if you read these reviews, take notice. Amazon Prime for streaming is just as big as Netflix, Huawei or any of the well knows or obscure services you are offering on this device. Please add Amazon Prime.
I will be disappointed at having to look for a different brand for my next purchase if Prime isn't made available.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, available streaming services work well
Cons: amazon prime is not available

If I had known I wouldn't be able to use Amazon on "this model" I wouldn't have bought it.

connected to my samsung tv practically on it's own after connecting to the wifi. cool options like netflix. Then the first time it asked me to update it did and then it froze... for good. Took it back within first 30 days.
Cons: didn't like updating itself
