If you're a solid gamer, this device is just well build for you. A solid sturdy frame the adds more stability specially for fast key switching, specially for playing fps that requires left hand muscle. Compared to a Logitech gaming keyboard, this one could at least compete or probbably perform at par. Software itself is great, which features the automatic profile switching, and the in-game marco recording system is actually better than Setpoint. The backlight feature allows gamers to used the system even on a dimmer enviroment such as gaming rooms. The coolest feature would be the removable keypad (magnetic cylenders via usb), provides extended adaptability that lessen the risk of jamming the keys. Definetly adds more fun on gaming experience.
Cons? Its not ergonomically designed just like the other.

This was purchased by grandmother as a last minute gift. Didn't realize 2 shipping days meant business days.:( I normally do not make this type of purchase impulsively, however I needed it, as another ordered gift had not arrived. Even though a 12-year-old had a difficult time waiting and called early afternoon on the 27th, he definitely likes the keyboard. The product ratings are his.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The idea of a backlit keyboard for me, was to be able to see it better at night..the red light is not bright enough, I still struggle a little to see the smaller symbols. Also, I replaced a keyboard with 'flat' keys, and this cyborg has 3 dimensional 'old style' keys. Would have been nice to have flat keyboard with brighter, 'white' backlit keys. All in all, it has been a 'slightly' better keyboard. Daughter seems happy with its 'gaming' features, but not overly exstatic.
