This is a wonderful machine. It has powerful suction, works great on all surfaces, love the wind up cord. It cuts my vaccuming time in half. I tried other vaccums...this is the best.
We have had it for only 2 weeks but I was shocked at what it pulled up from my carpet. I love it. My husband does not like that the brush does not turn off when using the attachments but i have found it to be fine. Great suction. Picks up the dog hair really well.
Do not like the poor suction through the hose and tools

Hi Kathy R, thank you for reviewing the Hoover WindTunnel T-series Rewind Plus Upright Vacuum. Here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. We hope this helps, but if not, please call Hoover Customer Care at 800-944-9200. Thanks, Cierra - The Hoover Team
This is the best all round vacuum. Excellent pickup, easy to handle and clean and it doesn't blast out dust when you turn it on. Personally I love this machine so much I own two of them.
I have had the Hoover for three weeks and absolutely love it. I was looking for a lighter-weight vacuum than my current one (Dyson Animal), and this fits the bill. It is much easier to handle, to open the casing to clean, and the automatic plug is a winner!
I have had this vacuum for about 2 years. For the last 6 months, the vacuum shuts off after using it for 5 mins. I have emptied the chambers, cleaned the filters, I have no idea what else to do. I have to vacuum 1 room a day. I would never recommend you buy this product.
This was our second Windtunnel in the past 5 years. The first worked well for three years and in researching other vacuums we were happy to see this highly rated in Consumer Reports. And the price was low. Aft two-three months light use its suction we declining and after 9 months it was done. The engine was shutting off by itself after 5 mins of use - I suppose due to overheating or some other reason. Will not buy another - you get what you pay for!

Hi JerrryB! We know it can be quite frustrating when your WindTunnel T-Series shuts off on you. The good news is that this is actually a protective feature for the vacuum's motor. Overheating is caused by a clog of some sorts. We want to help. We created this quick video to help guide you through locating any obstructions in your units system. See it here: http://bit.ly/1jvx3tW. Complete these steps to get your T-Series back running like new!
We bought this vacuum less than a year ago and while at first I thought it was doing a good job, I could see the amount of pet hair in the cannister, it has simply turned out to be a headache. The contents in the cannister do not rotate around when on so there is no suction. The attachment tools have NEVER worked, can't even suction up a piece of fuzz. When I hold the tool to my hand I dont even feel suction. We literally kept our old broken vacuum (the bottom rotator belt snapped but attachments worked fine) so we could use those attachments since this one was useless. When I vacuum my bare floors I can visibly see the vacuum spitting dirt backwards towards my feet. I am trying to clean my house before we move out and there is a lot of visible dirt on the floors from the movers...yet I see it just being spewed around and very little is getting picked up. When I turn off the vacuum, if I move it I can see a nice little pile of dirt and debris that was rotating around the brush but not getting picked up. I was going to donate this to Goodwill but I think it better belongs in the trash. The one redeeming part was the retractable cord, never had a problem with it getting stuck and not going all the way in like other vacuums I have owned.

Hi amr1! Your WindTunnel T-Series Rewind should pick up better than this. We want to help. If you've noticed the unit is leaving behind debris this can be due to a blockage in one of the hoses or the filters needing to be cleaned/replaced. We have a few suggestions to help get your unit up and running:
1. Disconnect both ends of the hose from the unit and run a broom handle through to clear any debris. 2. Rinse the primary filter from under the dirt cup lid and allow it to air dry for 24 hours. 3. Check the dirt cup inlet for any blockages and remove. 4. Tap out the HEPA filter over the waste bin to clean. Do not rinse. 5. Remove the bottom plate along with the brushroll and check the lower hose inlet for any blockages. Use a grabber tool or something similar to clear any debris. Do not use anything that could puncture the hose.
Once completed the unit will pick up as it should and the hose will regain suction for the accessory tool usage. For optimum performance we suggest replacing the filters every 6-12 months. If further assistance is needed feel free to give us a call at 1-800-944-9200 M-F from 8am-6pm EST. We're here for you!
