I purchased a Shark. It broke in less than 3 months and parts were on back order for 2. Took the refund and bought a Hoover. Good vacuum sweeper. No complaints.

Got my hoover about three weeks ago and it's great. It picks up so much more dirt than my other vacuum cleaner. Matter-a-fact I just got done vacuuming my livingroom when the doorbell rang. FedEx left it at my door, so I decided I was going to vacuum again. What a shock! The Hoover vac got so much more dirt out of my carpet. I have in door cats and it does a great job on everything.
I have had this vacuum several years, and it is the only one that would work on the new carpet I selected. And for the money it is great. The only negative thing is that it has squeaky wheels.
I bought this and was so excited for a vacuum that would actually work. After 3x of using this vacuum the belt broke and I had to replace it. Even before replacing and since replacement it hasn't picked up ANYTHING. The hose does wanders, but that leaves me to go foot by foot on my hands and knees using the hose. I could go over the same tiny shred of paper 20x and it still pitifully sits there.

Hi TepTep! I know that is frustrating. I've shared this in other responses I believe but the T-Series was the very first vacuum I had in my very first apartment here in Cleveland and it served me well.
I have a pretty good idea of what's going on so I put together this quick video: http://youtu.be/j2RQs0rut-A with some tips I think will help. If it doesn't, just let me know. Thanks!
I love most things about this vacuum, but the upholstery tool keeps losing suction. I've cleared out any blockages, made sure the belt is not hindered, cleaned the brush section - nothing helps. I've now gone through 2 tools! Disappointed in this feature. Vacuum is less than a year old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi watermom! The upholstery tool on your WindTunnel T-Series should continue to have suction. We want to help. The tool is powered by suction from the hose. If there's a clog in the hose this can cause the tool to no longer work. Please disconnect both ends of the hose from the unit and use a broom stick to completely clear. Once the hose is clear you should feel strong suction from the hose, and the tool will begin to work normally. If further assistance is needed feel free to give us a call at 1-800-944-9200 M-F from 8am-6pm EST. We're here for you!
Pros: good suction, easy to handle (18 lbs), nice overall design, 2 year warranty, fair price, does a nice job of cleaning up dog hair. Cons: hose is too short, placement of on/ off button (should be on top of handle). We have owned for 1 month. Overall I would recommend this attractive bagless vac, you will be hard pressed to find a nicier model for under $100.
I bought my Hoover Wind Tunnel 12 amp. November 2015. The unit works great and is lightweight, easy to clean and fits in tight spaces. The one complaint I have is with the push button rewind. Mine does not work at all. Not even a little. I have watched all the YouTube videos and tried pulling out the cord to the yellow mark and nothing happens. While it is an inconvenience for me , it is something I can live with. I just wrap the cord and put the Unit in the closet. If the auto rewind cord is an important selling feature. Ask the sales people to let you take the unit out of the box and pull out the cord. Make sure it works before leaving the store.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Gemma 2! You shouldn't be having any issues with the cord rewind feature under normal use. The cord can jam if it's pulled put past the red tape. If this happens you'll need to bring it in for service. To locate your nearest center please visit: http://hoover.com/locator/. Hope this is helpful!
