I got this vacuum as a gift and I have been using it since last 4 years. So far it is working good. I have recently replaced worn out hose and now it's working like a new vacuum.

I purchased this vac recently & love how it gets lots of dirt out.......however....I have already written the company that the hose that you attach the accessories to is so short I have to sit the vac on a table to reach the top of the drapes. Also the upholstery brush bristles are so short. I have 4 other vacs & those bristles are at least an inch longer. Their reply was that i could purchase a longer hose & they will pass on the comment about the bristles being so short.

I bought this same vacuum in September of 2015. 2 months ago the switch broke. Unfortunately it was thrown out so hoover couldn't respond to the problem. Since I loved the vacuum I'm trying another one. This time I've registered the product so if there's a problem I expect it resolved.

We ask that you please keep a copy of your purchase receipt as this will prove the warranty for your unit. Your model carries a two year warranty from the purchase date on the receipt that covers for manufacturing defects. The product registration is for recall purposes only. Hope this helps!

Good suction and easy cord retrieval, but that's where the compliments end. The cord is much shorter than my old Dyson, emptying the canister is awkward, and a simple clip on the handle would keep the cord from getting in the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I would give it 5 stars ,but there is 1 reason i wont... when you take off the hose to get the corners and hard to reach places, the brush on the bottom keeps rotating

I have been using this vacuum for about 2 years now and so far as performed very well. I have two dogs and one cat and the amount of hair and fur this thing picks up of the carpet daily is much better than any vacuum I have ever owned. It comes with several tools that you get the job done, except for the handheld a rotating brush which is pretty much useless. this vacuum is great for smaller spaces and apartments, but I would not recommend it for large house.
