I really like the vacuum one of the pluses is the cord has a lever to inject the cord into the vacuum doesn't have whined the cord on the plastic little weak plastic pieces on the outside

I had been wanting to purchase a bagless vacuum for quite a while. I just read a review in one of the leading consumer magazines on different bagless models. The WindTunnel Rewind Plus was the #1 rated vacuum in it's category. After doing some research and comparisons, I decided to order one of these. I used it for the first time yesterday and all I know to say is that it is amazing....especially for the money. It is the best $100 I have spent on a product in a long time!! The features are great, the amount of suction is incredible and the design is very well thought out. Our last two vacuums have been the 8 pound Oreck units. They have served us well with no real issues, however the fact that they are bagged units, and that we have a small dog, every time we would use it the house would have a very unpleasant smell for a couple of hours. Unless you were constantly washing the clothe exterior bag and/or replacing the internal bag, there was no way to get rid of the odor. As a result, I wanted to try a bagless unit. Even though I have only used it once, the Hoover Rewind Plus has exceeded my expectations in every area. I have absolutely no regrets on this purchase!!

I think this item is still under warranty. Shipped out November 7, 2013; today is October 26, 2014...Been having trouble with squealing/squeaking wheels since we first got the machine. These have been a nuisance but I can live with them. Lately,the cord rewind keeps popping off; today it completely cracked off, and now I cannot rewind the cord. I will contact the customer service number during work hours on Monday. I do hope the warranty covers the repairs. It's a shame, because the vacuum itself does a decent job on rugs and carpet. I am disappointed in the integrity of the body of the machine; it doesn't hold up to light housework and careful storage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
