Well made, easy to clean, RETRACTABLE LONG CORD!

This is a great vacuum for the money! All plastic, lightweight, bagless, easy to clean and wash and best of all, a long retractable cord. I don't know where this was made but four years ago we bought a basic well made in America cleaner...no accessories. The bags cost what we pay for a decent meal for two at Ruby Tuesday's. And it was heavy and didn't pick up. Our new Hoover almost runs itself, like our self propelled mower. And the "pet furniture" attachment is good, although if you sink it into the furniture too much, the motor in the attachment suits. That, slowdown, and the fact that the hose is short and just hangs on the back with nothing to secure it to, are the reason for a four, not a five.

I had purchased this vacuum cleaner early this year (2019). Then we had our house burn down in May and we lost everything...Including a Dyson Animal. Even though the insurance paid for both, I am only replacing the Hoover! It is a superior machine in real world comparison and out performs the Dyson hands down! If you have pets or multiple floor coverings, you can't go wrong with this machine!

The handle of this vacuum only goes down one level because of a house in the back on the bottom of the vacuum prevents the lever from going down to the next level so you can vacuum under tables horrible machine I took mine to Repair as soon as I got it he said everybody is complaining about it the Hoover design is horrible on most of these models that are bagless this is the bagless only I'm talking about

Hi Dar60! Due to the design of the WindTunnel T-Series it will not lay flat to go under your bed or furniture. You may be in need of a vacuum with a bit more clearance to fit your needs. Not sure why all the negative reviews, claiming that this looses suction over time. Wonder if they bothered cleaning it out like the manual said so? This includes replacing the HEPA filter AND rinsing out the regular filter. My ONLY con is that I have gone through two belts in about two years... but then again, my wife and I vacuum every day ... kids and pets sigh. This is a GREAT vacuum cleaner to purchase!

Still too new for five stars. I might have unforseen issues in the future, however to date I've used the vaccum three times and each time I'm more impressed. More suction then my old dyson. We owe five dogs so a great vaccum is essential to my life. I would buy this vaccum again and strongly recommend the vaccum to anyone with pets!

I have had this vacuum for a total of six years. I have never ran into a mechanical issues. However, the cord holder on the handle is made poorly. The cord was pulled, thereby breaking the lower tab that supports the cord. I also experienced lose of suction. I cleaned the washable filter, replaced my HEPA filter, and there wasn't much of an improvement. I decided to clean the internal part(s) located in the Dirt Cup section. This will require a philips head screw driver. I was surprised of the volume of dust on the cone like shaped part. I washed all parts in a mild detergent. Allowed them to dry for three hours, and reassembled. Now my vacuum cleaner performs as new.

Just bought last month directly from Hoover based on reviews in Consumer Reports magazine. I am impressed with the suction and powerful cleaning of my carpets! I have a long haired dog, and nothing I had owned previously even came close. The only dislikes are the far too short cord and the weight, which wouldn't be a factor if I didn't have to lug it up and down stairs.
