hover is no maker cheap vacuums

I have been very happy in the past with my Hover. After buying this one I will never purchase another hover again! I purchased in Oct'11. I keep duct tape around to fix all the breaking parts. So very LOUD!! It still picks up dirt after multi passes.

I bought this vacuum cleaner in December. Worked great for few months, almost too much suction. Couldn't vacuum my fringed rugs since it destroyed some my fringe. Now in August the suction is so weak that I need to use the small attachment to pick up anything. I regret buying it.

Hi JackieQ27! Your T-Series shouldn't lose suction with regular maintenance. We want to help. Loss of suction is due to a blockage in the air path. Please take a look at this quick troubleshooting video here: http://bit.ly/1jvx3tW. Complete these steps and your Hoover should run like new!
I used this vacuum for a few months before it started losing suction and leaving trails of dirt when I used it. I did not call and ask for assistance with this issue, but I really hadn't expected this from a Hoover vacuum. I was impressed, but now, not so much.

This is one of the worst vacuums I have ever used! Very difficult to empty canister. Cord is not long enough. Hose is not long enough and always get my hands pinched when using it. Beater bar does not stop when using handheld attachments. There is nothing good about this product, Hoover should be ashamed of themselves, eventhough it is not a real expensive vacuum, I would expect a better quality than this for the price paid. I wish I could return it and get my money back but it has been just over 3 months and too late to return it.

Short in cord

Vacuum worked okay for a few months but suction diminished as bagless are begins to fill. Next time will go with a bagged model since lots of parts need regular cleaning and emptying cannister involves lots of dust. Power became intermittant when a short inside the rewinder occurred. Now have to buy a new one since repair is costly.

Thank you for your feedback! To maintain strong suction flow the dirt cup should be emptied after each use and the filter cleaned also. If cleaning the filter doesn't solve the problem, it may be a manufacturers defect. Your cleaner has a manufactures defect warranty for 2 years. Worst piece of junk..i blame myself on spending $100 for this junk..i just got carried away with all the great reviews on this website but i felt so sorry after my purchase..within just a use of week i noticed the wire just near its shaft was worned out as if i was burned or something..i called hoover and they asked me to take it to nearest service centre. Now these service center people are saying that the wire was wormed out because i must have vacuumed on the wire..how is it even possible??? the defect was just few inches away from the shaft, how could i possibly ran over the wire which is just few inches from shaft..and they have refused to do my service for free even if i am under warranty saying that this does not cover the manufacture warranty, because i was my fault..and i say its not my fault..i guess it their word against mine..very very disappointed with the purchase and their customer service sucks to the core..i feel so sorry for myself that i just threw my $100 in junk..

I just finished reading all the reviews. I find it so hard to believe that SO MANY owners of this appliance are dissatisfied. I made the purchase due to the fact that Consumer Reports gave it a really high rating and recommended it. Lets see what will happen....time will tell as I have only used it three times. I will not make any recommendations yet.....just too early.
