I bought this item three years ago and I absolutely love it. It has great attachments and cleans my carpets thoroughly. I love how easy it is to clean the filter when dirty. I would recommend this to someone who is seasoned in taking apart your vacuum for necessary maintenance.

I have a large home with carpet in 6 rooms and i also have 2 dogs and 2 cats so that is alot of hair. i vacuum my house every day and have owened my windtunnel for over a year and have had no issues with it. The only thing i do not like is no light on the front.

I bought this a few weeks ago and really like it. I had a Hoover before this and it finally gave out. This one is lighter and of course bagless but works very well. I would have to agree with one of the other reviews that the self winding cord could be longer. I hope this Hoover lasts as long as my other one!

I had a hoover that lasted me for many years so when I needed a new vacuum I looked for a hoover. I've bought 6 different hoover vacuums and all of them have been terrible quality. I can't seem to find a single one that lived up to my old one. I'm giving up on hoover now and going to a different brand. even if it costs more. It's worth the extra money to get something that works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

only used once so far and was quite impressed with all the pet hair and dust that was collected! the cord is waaaaay too short and the hose too short also. belt broke on 2nd use - store where purchased does not carry much in the line of parts. [@]says they have a belt of theirs that will work - for $5 - order on line from Hoover for $1.31 each for 3 - think i will order several to have on hand. frustrating that parts are not more readily available.
