I am glad I read the report and got the Hoover that I am loving to use. Very easy to put together. Love the way the old rugs nap fluffed after using it. It worked very well on hard tile floors as well.

A great all-around vacuum

Before I bought this vac I was going through an average of one vacuum cleaner a year, and I didn't even have any pets. Now I have five cats, and even after almost three years this little dude still does an awesome job. I vacuum at least twice a week, and this vac gets my entire apartment (~1000 square feet) done quickly and effectively. It also does a great job getting dust and pet hair out of furniture. The canister is simple to remove and fairly easy to empty. The filters are easy to keep clean. I have had to clean the roller brush maybe twice since I've owned this product - which is almost unbelievable considering how much hair I shed myself - and it literally takes two seconds to remove the bottom plate if you need to. Some vacs I have owned require a screwdriver to get in there. It is a little heavier than other vacuums I have owned, but it is very sturdy when using the attachments, and it's still light enough for me to lift with one arm. This vacuum is definitely a great value and really well-designed. It blows similar models in the same price range out of the water (and I have owned several of them).

Love this vacuum!! It has powerful suction and is great for dust and pet hair. Amazed at how much dirt/hair is picked up from 'clean' floors. It worked so well, my girlfriend borrowed it for her house with three cats. She brings it by every week to clean my house but she takes it back with her. At this low price, I never would have guessed it came with a cleaning service.
