I purchased this vacuum about a year ago. I have wanted to be writing this review long before this. Its far from efficient and emptying it is a pain. The suction is horrible at best. If you have pets, this would be the last product you should buy. The only one good thing is the retractable cord!! I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone. Seriously dissatisfied.

Hi Kayw, it sounds like you have a clog or a dirty filter. Either of which can effect your suction power. Try these quick steps for me.
1. Remove the hose from both ends and run a broom handle through it. That should knock out any debris that may be stuck in there.
2. Remove the dirt cup, open the lid, and pull the filter out. If the underside is dirty, rinse it under warm water and allow 24 hours for it to dry.
If these steps didn't help or if you're still having issues, feel free to email me direct at Ian.McCormick@ttifloorcare.com. We're here to help. Thanks so much!
was super happy when it first came in late october - i have mostly hardwood floors in my house. use it about once every two weeks to do an area rug and one bedroom, it stopped working without warning. didn't suck up anything I was supposed to, no weird noises, just doesn't turn on as of a few weeks ago. was great for the ten or so times I got to use it but shouldn't have died already!
I was so excited to get this vacuum and it did it work well for a little while but now the tube seems to get clogged up all the time and I can't find one to order because they are out of stock or discontinued. It gets really annoying to have to clean the tube out everytime we use it in order for it to suck up anything. Looking at vacuums to get a new one...not Hoover
I purchased new area rugs and the owner recommended this vacuum cleaner. What a great recommendation! It is easy to use, lightweight and has all the necessary attachments. I believe this vacuum cleaner will keep my rugs beautiful.
I bought this vaccum 12 years ago and have loved the power it has. I would of giving a 5 star but I think the power cord gets too hot when vacuuming. I love the auto reel cord feature the most. Like the Energizer bunny it keeps going.
We bought this vacuum cleaner a few weeks ago, and I think it is the best vacuum we've ever owned! It has now replaced our Oreck. Our daughter, who owns an Electrolux, wanted to try it out at her house, and was shocked by how much dirt it removed from her carpets! They looked like new again! She is now the proud owner of this vacuum cleaner. We have told many friends about this fantastic vacuum, and several have asked for the model number so they can purchase one, also! We all like that it is bagless, has a washable filter and is so powerful! We highly recommend this Hoover WindTunnel, model #UH70120!
Hose isn't very long, pulls the vacuum with it (then what's the point) plus hose gets clogged easily and has very little suction. The most frustrating feature is the stupid belt. WHO DESIGNED THIS!!!!! Belt slips off every 30 seconds (LITERALLY) and I have to wait at least 10 minutes for the small metal rod to cool down so that I may reattach the belt only for it to slip off a few seconds later.
I bought this in June 2015 and have had major plugs at least 4-5 times, requiring some disassembly to get the plug out of the hoses. I have not had a vacuum cleaner before that has plugged like this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi lotexan! If your WindTunnel T-Series is becoming clogged during use this can indicate that the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. The filter contributes to the suction of the hose. Please give the following steps a try:
1. Rinse the primary filter from under the dirt cup lid and allow it to completely air dry before use. 2. Tap off the HEPA filter over the trashcan to remove excess debris. 3. Disconnect the hose from both ends of the unit and run a broom handle through to clear out any debris. If the hose is not completely cleared out any clogs would continue to build. 4. Check inlets behind the dirt cup and bottom nozzle for any obstructions and remove.
For optimum performance we recommend replacing the primary and HEPA filters every 6-12 months and cleaning these filters after each use. If further assistance is needed feel free to reach out to us via Facebook or Tweet us @HooverUSA. We're here for you!
