We were replacing another Hoover vacuum and wanted something a little more light weight but that would do the job. After much research this one fit the bill. It works great! Love the retractable cord, the bagless container and the attachments. Did a wonderful job. So glad we purchased it!
I've had the vacuum les than 2 years. The suction is not good - it blows the dirt away from the vacuum. This week it has started turning itself off before finishing a room. It hasn't to "cool off" before restarting. Waste of money

Hi Jazz53! We don't want you to feel like you wasted your money. It sounds like your WindTunnel T-Series is overheating. We have some tips to help. Please try the troubleshooting in this brief video to get your Hoover running like new: http://bit.ly/1jvx3tW. Hope this helps!
Hoover still stays at the top of its class. A week after buying the WindTunnel T-Series I decided to "test" it after vacuuming with our old upright. Amazing how much new dirt, hair and dust the Hoover picked up just seven days after the carpets and floor were supposedly cleaned. A vacuum worth every cent.
Keyed off Consumer Reports analysis and concur with the quality and suction/cleaning capability. Very responsive shipping schedule. Easily put together. The weight of the unit is somewhat of a drawback if you have a lot of carpet, and particularly so if you previously used a battery-powered stick machine or are a smaller / older woman.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No pets inside. For price quality great.I empty after each vacuum job and take directly out to green bin outside then I hit the filter a few times to get the excess dust build up. If you rinse filter let it dry out of the vacuum for a couple days.Awesome feature not needing to buy filters. Occasionally I do this but a good wack on the cement does fine;an indicator pops red if it needs it-awesome! Bagless is not for allergic people but in my opinion less hassel..coordinating bag types with vacuum/$. Efficient enough for just every couple days household vacuuming carpets; no double takes.Clear canister makes easy viewing of mess picked up.The vacuum suctions great through the hose with crevious tool provided awesome clean job in vehicles. I've owned vacuum 8 months and awesome as ever. JUST MAINTAIN as directed. If your household has alot of long hair-maintain bottom brush wheel;cover removes EASY for access. The noise level is as expected like a Eureka. Not muffled like a bedroom door is shut but a good working one.
I purchased this based on Consumer Reports rating. I vacuumed over where I had previously done do with our old machine earlier and it picked up an incredible amount of pet hair. We love it!
The model I wanted, the Wind Tunnel T-series bagless, highlighted by Consumer Reports in December 2015, was not available at stores near me, so I ordered it directly from Hoover. I'm not good at assembling things, but I had the new vacuum ready to go in five minutes. It amazed my housemates with how much cat hair it collected with a simple first run over the living room and dining room. My only criticism is that dust tends to cling to the vents near the filter: one indication, I think, of the power of the motor. I have remedied that concern by purchasing a special feather brush that reaches up to remove that dust when I empty the cylinder. I have since ordered a second identical model to give as a gift this holiday season.
