We owned a couple of these years ago and recently bought one for our sunroom, which is unheated. They work perfectly and we especially enjoy the easy thermostat settings. Never had a single issue with any of the radiators.
My house is comfortable set at level 3 and I use them 24 hours per day. I placed a heater in each room of my house during construction cleanup, to avoid spreading dust with my gas furnace. I like how I can turn the green light on or off. They are lightweight and portable, and come in a sturdy box with handle cutouts..They're attractive, too.
We have this in the finished part of our basement, it's perfect for that area (about 250 SF). I had it on over the weekend to supplement the heat pump in the unfinished part of the basement and it WAS warmer down there but 500 SF is a little beyond its limit. Love that its silent.
I use a total of 3 of these heaters for my 750 sq ft 1-bedroom condo. I intended to use them as an auxiliary to the gas furnace, but they do such a great job I’m now doing the opposite, as where I live electricity is cheaper than gas to keep the space at the same temperature, about 68°F. They make no sound at all, and I love the warmth without the hot, dry air blowing. Because of the price difference I opted for these as opposed the ones with digital options; they do exactly what you need them to do.
My friend had one of these in her basement and I liked it so much that I got the exact same one. It takes up very little space and is very effective at heating!
