This printer is awful right out of the box. It cannot print a sing;e page with the correct alignment.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I needed the larger printer for drawings and the 1100 is very fast, clean and easy to use. It is fairly compact and does not require a lot of desk space. Inks are fairly reasonably price,too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Epson WorkForce 1100 is the best color printer I have had....the clarity is great, and the colors look just like the original ones in the scenes taken.

Fast Fast Printing, not as bad on ink as I thought it would be. Also bought the Stylus Color 1400 and this one is a little faster than that. It knows what size paper you put into it! I work with MS Publisher and Corel Draw & Photo Paint with Very Good Print Out Results... Resolution is very high on my list and the 1100 steps up to the plate on that too!
Overall a Very Good Choice, at the Right Price!

Workforce 1100 wide format printer

I am an electrical engineer and use this printer to plot BW "B" size drawings for clients. I have owed different manuf. printers...they lasted approx 6 months before something failing...paper feeds, print heads etc etc. I have owned this printer for only a month plotted approx 2500 prints without a hitch!!! Excellent quality and so far not one glitch....no paper jams ,driver problems, ink useage is better than before. Great machine and one great benefit, the photo printing quality is outstanding!

Best printer I have ever had

I use my Epson Workforce 1100 printer with my PC for home, doing spreadsheets, letter writing and such. It is not an ink hog which delighted me so much I bought another "Workhorse" for my Apple.
How great to be able to use the same ink for both of my computer printers.
Another feature I like about the printer is that it is a printer, just a printer.......no faxing, no scanning, etc., just a wonderful printer

This printer was extremely easy to set up. We print from both a Mac and a PC. Color is very nice. It feeds envelopes easily. I am very happy with my purchase.

Good printer

This is my 2nd WorkForce 1100. I wore out the 1st one in about a year and a half of heavy duty printing, at that time it was still working but was giving the "end of life cycle" message. I print on heavy Arches hand made quality paper making pages for journals and books and my last printer made thousands of pages. I must have a printer that will do wide format and do high quality work (and I really can't justify a high priced printer). Although this is very good, I would always like to have more speed but this fills my needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
