I have always been a fan of this kind of rolling duffel. This one by far is the largest I've ever seen. I like that I can use the bottom layer to fold flat my dress clothes and even toss in a tennis racket. The metal brackets in the rear provide stability and support. Then on top I have plenty a room for all the rest of my casual clothes. I like the extra pockets to put in my toiletries bag and even slip my running shoes and sandals into the bottom. It rolled easily through the airport. The blue color was very attractive on the conveyor belt and easy to spot. I have always been a fan of this kind of rolling duffel. The Samsonite Rolling Duffle is the perfect piece of luggage for the way I travel. Soft sided does not mean "NO PROTECTION". The bottom side of the duffle is very solid and protects any thing I pack there. Clothing packed around the item provides all the padding necessary. The zippers are heavy duty, well constructed and securely sewn into the duffle. The main zipper accomodates the TSA lock. The bag can hold a massive amount of travel stuff. There are several exterior pockets that let you store items you may need and not want to dig for. The rollers and extending handle make it very easy to transport the duffle through the airport as well as across rough parking lots. The wheels are hardened so I think the ramp personnel will have a very difficult time breaking them. So far the bag is the perfect size for fitting into autos, taxis, buses and airplanes. The duffle holds more than my wife's largest hard sided case and I always end up with some of her stuf because the capacity of the duffle is that much larger than hers. Just be careful with the weight. With so much capacity it is easy to exceed 50 pounds. But, if weight is no issue, you will be able to travel with whatever you may need and be able to move it around easily. I love the duffle and have no interest at all in a hard case.
