This is the best. large bag we've ever owned. We bought one about 10 years ago, and when it finally wore out after many international and cross-country trips, we bought the exact same bag. This is the only bag that's worked perfectly for all 3 frequent travelers in our family, including a relentlessly organized packer, a roll up everything packed, and our just throw in everything daughter. It's easy to spot on the baggage carousel thanks to its distinctive looks, and easy to load into a trunk thanks to the handles at the top.

When fully packed, comes just shy of the 50-pound max on airlines. Regular duffels are hard to carry. Duffels with wheels need a stiff back to work as a rolling bag. This has that and is the max size you can fill without going overweight. Straps cinch down extra space to keep things from moving around. Well designed. Good quality. Won’t smash up for storage as much as a non-rolling duffel.

I am a road warrior and travel constantly for work. I love my rolling duffel, but I had an issue. The liner on the large top portion (when laying flat) slowly tore on both sides into the large main compartment. Eventually the tears met and it effectively lost the top compartment.
