My Samsung will not connect with the internet continuously. I’ve tried everything including a firmware update. This is a problem experienced by many. This is not a SMART TV.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgrade to this model and size. I love this series easier to program wide array of choices. a very beautiful picture.
It turn off by itself, We check if the timer is on but its not. It happen not so often but still very frustrating because at middle of the show it shut off. i keep on searching from the manual reason why its doing like this.
Great fidelity. Movies look like movies and not daytime tv. And the high frame rate is great for action.

I had a Samsung tv for 10 years which gave great service and so when it came time to replace it, choosing another Samsung was an easy decision. The thinner surround allowed me to select a bigger tv screen for the same overall dimensions. Couple that with going from 1080p to UHD and the overall improvement is dramatic. I am a keen amateur photographer and display my photos on my tv. They have never looked better and more natural and now since this is a smart tv I can select sources on the internet as well as those directly connected my tv. Having a smart tv was new to me. Once I had connected a wireless mouse to the USB it was really easy to "type". There is enough memory built in to the tv for all the apps I want to download and the Smart Hub provides easy access. I thoroughly recommend this Samsung tv.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, movies look like movies and not daytime tv

Mind Blowing Clarity

The brilliant, clear picture is mind blowing. The first Blu-Ray we watched made us feel like we were there. Scenic shots with plants rendered the plants lifelike. The color is truly amazing. We paired it up with a Samsung 4.1 speaker system and it is better than being at the theater. Picture and sound quality from HD cable programming is also fantastic. It was easy to install since it weighed less than our 42 inch plasma that we replaced. Very easy to setup. The manual is a little skimpy but the e-manual pre-loaded on the Samsung is very easy to navigate and not a problem finding information. The price was also tremendously less that what I had expected to spend for a 60 inch 4K TV. I could not be happier and can wholeheartedly recommend this TV as a great buy.
Bought on Black Friday at great price. With a 120 refresh rate I didn't expect to have motion lag, but I do. Also, I get about a 1 second screen blackout about once an hour. I can't leave my chromecast plugged into a second HDMI port because the TV will black out at a rate of about 10 times in 15 seconds. I know it's the TV because I can remove chromecast, rewind the video and the blackouts are not there. So with a wall-mount TV and where the HDMI ports are located, I can't use my chromecast on my main TV. NOT HAPPY!!!!
Cons: Did not meet expectations, lags, black outs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't waste your money. You get what you pay for.

This TV has the worst picture quality I have ever seen, especially considering it's a 4k television. I've had it for a few days now and I've had to constantly keep messing with the picture quality features. The motion clarity is constantly distorted and has what I've learned to be called judder. I learned the hard way that when it comes to Samsung, if you buy their cheapest model you're getting what you pay for. Knowing what I know now I spend the extra $1,000 to get a 7 or an 8 series, even if it's a smaller TV.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, watching a blu ray the pic looks less than 1080
