HD 1080P clear picture...light weigt easy to operate.
the only negative is 2 hdmi ports which is very less.

I'm sorry i waited so long to upgrade to 1080P from 720 !! I use this as a monitor for my Macintosh and love it !!

I really like the picture on this TV but it takes some playing a round with the adjustments to get it just right, I have a 32" Samsung that has a lot more adjustments for picture settings.
Over all it's a great value for a 48" TV

We just love our Samsung Smart TV. I love how there are so many apps, I can watch my MLB.TV on it. I love that feature. I also love the clarity,and beautiful picture that this model gives off. I would recommend this to anyone in the market for a Smart TV. Very affordable too.

Can't Go Wrong!

Our j5000Series LED TV 48" class has been operational about 1 month. This review is based only upon that brief period of ownership:
Initially, we purchased a competitor's TV. It was defective from installation. We contacted manufacturers tech support and, in addition, a service representative made a house call. The problem was not resolved. Since the TV was within the 30 day return grace period, the unit was returned to the retailer primarily based upon their advise.
From the same retailer, we elected to purchase this Samsung model. Consumer Report had given Samsung an excellent rating and, in large part, that is what guided us in this purchase. Our model was easy to install, easy to operate, and provides an excellent picture. At this point in ownership, we are well pleased. The price was competitive, albeit using a "price-match" the retailer offered.
Highly recommend!

I'm very pleased with the performance and quality . Simple to set up, easy to use remote. This is a basic set, no added bells and whistles, which is exactly what I was looking for. Sleek looking and well balanced for the stand.
Pros: Inexpensive, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, clean design
Cons: sound and volume control a little on the low side

I purchased a samsung 32 inch TV a few months ago and thought is was so great that I decided to upgrade my 42 inch Hannspree tv with this 50 inch and I am very happy i did. The picture and sound are great and it has all the features most of us ever want or need. I didn't want a smart TV since I have an Amazon fire and as far as 4k I felt there isn't that much 4k content yet and to be honest im not sure I would really notice a difference. It is hard to imagine that the picture quality of 4k is much better than the quality of this 1080p.
I have no complaints and strongly recommend this TV to anyone looking for an inexpensive TV that has an expensive TV's picture quality!
