I like projector very much. I had it for a year no problem.
I was watching golf yesterday and suddenly heard pop
sound screen went white. On the projector lamp light was
flashing. Was very disappointed because lamp din't stand
to claim made by Epson. The bulb had done less than 3000
hrs mostly on econo where as epson's claim is 5000. I am debating whether to spend money on bulb or not.

In comparison to the largest over the counter HD Flat Screen Tv, you cannot beat the picture size and quality of an EPSON Projector. My Projector screen is 4 times larger than the largest over the counter HD flat screen tvs, and the HD quality watching movies or even cable tv is excellent. The only problems I have had is that the HDMI cables cannot keep up, and I have had to go through two of them. I am on my third right now, and if anyone has any recommendations on which company to buy please do share. Also, I have had to replace the lamp and clean the filter once in the year that I have owned it. I do recommend it, and if you have the wall space...the world is yours!

I bought the EX-71, and I am impressed. It is a real road warrior. Tough and lightweight the list of remote controlled amenities are just what the doctor ordered. Projection lumens can always be brighter but I am satisfied with the image visualized in a well lighted room from 16 feet. Image size at that SID was approximately 8.5 feet by 6.5 feet. Excellent colors.

This projector rocks. So far it auto configures itself perfectly for everything I plug it into. The brilliance and color quality is awesome. The resolution is amazing. And it doesn't get too hot and I can shut it down, bag it up and walk away without having to wait for it to cool. Awesome product, for home or business use!

I've had my EX71 multimedia wide-screen for two days. I've already used it with my family to watch a movie, run a presentation, and set up for a workshop presentation on Saturday . . . It really is as simple as plug and play. The USB connect works well, but for Video you need composite or better.
I love the features, the ease of use, and especially the turn off and go - no waiting for cool down. This is a great multi-purpose projector. If things continue like this - my 4 star rating will quickly become a 5 . . .

Very pleased with image quality, price, features, etc my only criticism would be in normal mode it's a bit noisy however in an eco mode it runs much quiter.

Setup was easy. Display extremely clear. Overall very satisfied. Only problem so far is that Reds show up black. This may be my lack of understanding the overall setup.
