Well built. can be used with or with out a computer We have a 100" screen it had no problem with filling the screen the picture is very good. Ready to go right out of the box. Will play in 4x3 or 16x9 format great for viewing photos just plug your camera straight into one of the usb ports movies look very good when I hook it up to a computer. Only weights a little over 5 pounds easy to take with you on the road. can leave some of the light on in a room and still have a good picture.

This projector is really good. The only thing is that the sound is weak and the fan overpowered the sound. Overall, it is great!

EX51 Multimedia Projector

I have been using the EX51 for 3 months now and it is my primary display. I use it with a PC with Windows 7 Media Center using an HDMI cable. I have an 11 foot screen at 1400x1050. The manual zoom and focus are great.
I use the projector in eco mode and have no problem even with sun light directly on the screen. Very quiet in eco mode. The lamp has one of the longest life spans and low replacement price.
Just a great projector!

My First Hands on Operation of EX51 Mult Projector

The first time operation of this Multimedia Projector was like magic as everything came on very easy. The instructions given in the operation manual were so straight to the point and exact. It did not take time setting up the entire equipment and operating it with precision. The quality of the images projected was good and sharp. The adjustment provided further gave allowance for better quality. The stand, though fragile in look provided a good support to the projector as well as giving it a good raise for better projection to a desired suitable height. I am a very proud owner of this EX51 Multimedia Projector and hopes it serves my purpose for acquiring it.

This is an excellent product for a Home Entertainment.
The picture was so clear even in a bright room. Felt very happy for the price i spent while watching a movie on big screen.Easy to setup and easy to carry. It supports all the latest available mode of Video devices including the HDMI.

Pros: User interface is simple, logical and provides more capability than I really need. Better to have more than less.
I tested the unit by displaying on a beige paneled wall and it was great.
Cons: It took me 5 hours to figure out how to create a slideshow on a USB flash drive that would work. I am using Windows 7 and initially it could not find a Folder. After I got it to find the folder, it could not find the .jpg files. I eventually figured out how to create .jpg files with a minimum size that it would find. It was a challenge.
Then it worked great and as advertised.
Summary: Very impressed and satisfied.
