Got what I was expecting

It was nice to buy a product that does what it advertises, for a change. Ease of operation might not be as straightforward as I would have liked and is likely to scare the new user from trying. But this is not my first time so I knew it would take effort on my part to become familiar with this camera. Love the ZOOM!!
Pros: Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, supermacro is super
Cons: Complicated controls/menu, no built-in memory, no ac converter supplied

I recently purchased this camara (my 3rd Canon camara) and began using it immediately because of the easy to read start-up manual. Pictures are amazingly crisp and the color is accurate. I purchased the camara because of the megapixels and the 20 zoom lense. Both meet my expecatations.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

We like the camera - so far the only complaints we have are: would really like a printed operator's guide instead of mostly on line: having trouble keeping lens cap on. It makes great pictures - hoping to learn enough to operate it with some skill. The view finder is what sold us. Trying to line up wildlife and flora pics on screen in daylight is a real pain.

This camera is amazing to say the least. This is my first "nice" camera. I've always owned a mediocre digital camera...but never something that does this much. The zoom on this is PERFECT and the quality is great. The only thing I could complain about is.....the fact that Canon doesn't sell attachments for this camera. You can add an attachment but it has to be from a different vendor, which is really upsetting because I like sticking with the brand name stuff. But other than that, the camera is great.
Pros: everything
Cons: no attachments made by canon

The camera is so easy to use and the articulating screen is one of the best features of the camera, you can position it in any way and still see what you are taking a picture of even if you have it above your head or down at your knees. I would recommend this camera to any hobbyist or professional.

I purchased this camera before a vacation. It takes excellent photos and is easy to use. I especially like the zoom feature. It allows me to get great shots from far away without compromising quality. I definitely take my camera along with me more often now.
