Exelent Camera... BUT...

I like the camera, But when I buy it, The little screen have a lot of scratches... like it was broken... but i know that is not canon fault, that are an accident, maybe of the store, I dont know... but I hate that a new product has defects before you use it for first time...
I hope that canon have my new or repaired camera before I go outside the city...

Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: the lcd are broken when i buy it...

THIS CAMERA MUCH EASIER TO HANDLE THAN OTHER BRAND...AT SAME PRICE.
Pros: easy to use, Simple controls/menu, Lightweight/Portable

This camera is very technical so i do not recommend it to any one that has a hard time with technology. However it is also great in that it takes the pictures how i want them and when i want them. I give it full stars for being worth the money.

Shortcomings

Blame it on my age or whatever, but i am still using my s3 because I cannotstand this camera without a paper manual. It requires constant referal to the manual while in the field. the computer manual seems sleazy for this kind of camera cost.
I am not going to carry a laptop into the field to use.
Cons: no manual
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wish I had known...

This camera is a great value - takes beautiful pictures and is very easy to use. Only problem that I have is you cannot add any filters or additional lenses! Wish I had known this before purchasing - because I wouldn't have! My boyfriend is a surfer, and I was hoping to buy additional lenses, to take distance shots of him - but cannot.
Also, wish it had rechargable batteries - rather than just your regular AA batteries.
Other than that, the camera is wonderful!

Cons: Poor Low-Light Performance, Short battery life, cannot add lenses, cannot add filters

My first purchase of a Camera

Overall i am satisfied with quality of images and other stuff. I am still a new bee for photography but i like the fact i have 20X mega Zoom and 12.1 Mega Pixal. Will update more about after i use it more. It is little bulky and am not used to keeping LENS CAP . A Bit difficult to use compared to point and share cameras but have to admit the fact they do not give this ZOOM and Quality.
Pros: Nice features/settings, Bright LCD
Cons: Heavy/Bulky, Complicated controls/menu
