Very happy with this printer. We got a great deal on it. It was extremely easy to set up and get going. Love the wireless feature. The pages print pretty quick. Would definitely recommend this to others!!

I use the MFC-495CW for my home office. It is connected wireless to two PC's, both running Windows 7. It took a little time to setup the wireless; I had help from Brother tech support and it works great. I feel that I made the perfect choice. Before installing the software, I checked the Brother website to see if there was a more recent software and ended up downloading my software instead of using the disk that came with my machine. The finish is nice and I have no complaints, so far. I have owned it several weeks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This printer was very easy to set up. The wireless capability saved money from having to buy two printers. I did have some initial difficulties setting up the fax machine, but I learned later, that was my blunder. I do wish it had the capability to print a double sided document, but that's a minor issue. For personal use for myself and my father, it more than serves its purpose and is well worth the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very please with this printer. I have one problem and that is the installation should be updated to Linux distributions
I have had trouble getting the scanner to work.
After much searching, I was able to get to working and it is fine. If you want beauty and duty, you've picked the right one.
Not only is it beautiful, it is dependable. The price is right. I believe it is priced perfectly for the product.
