Keep a spare when you replace your filter

My 203 works so silently next to my bed that I forget it is in the room. Seems as if I checked it not too long ago and the filter was fine. But yesterday -- YUCK! The filter was filthy and it reminded me how fortunate the lint and cat fur are stuck to the filter instead of my lungs. I always order a spare filter when I replace one. Always be prepared.

Disappointing

Like other reviews, the filter had a petroleum like odor. Ran the unit for a couple of days in a spare room but the odor persisted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Far Better than Generic Brands

For the last 6 months, I chose to use a generic brand version of the filter to save a measly $10--big mistake. I thought my BlueAir purifier was losing strength over time, but then I purchased the Blue Air official filter and noticed a tremendous improvement in performance. I will always buy my replacement filters directly from Blue Air from now on.

I can safely assume that my nomadic, ancestors once roamed the ancestral hunting grounds, experiencing each inhalation of pure mountain air in a state of bliss air like the experience of a departed soul, returning to a new incarnation. Great Purifier and Filter

I purchased my Blue Air about a year ago for my bedroom due to dust mite allergy. The air in there now feels more clear and clean since I began using it. I keep the bedroom door closed from the rest of the upstairs when the purifier is on. My allergies are worst in the fall and winter months when I turn on the furnace. During the spring and summer I can turn off the purifier and open my windows without too much discomfort. I love fresh air, but during the winter in Iowa you can't keep your windows open very long. Dust mite allergy is basically a year round problem, but in my experience, I suffer much worse with the windows closed. The only thing I haven't done yet to my bedroom to dust proof it, is pull up the carpet. Some people may think getting rid of carpet is a no-brainer. That may be something I will do next. When I replaced my filter before starting to use it again this past fall, I was surprised (or maybe I should say happy to know it was working so well) to see all the dust and gunk trapped in my old filter. Needless to say, the purifier was working and the filter doing it's job. I continuously dust and vacuum (with a special allergy vacuum) and it amazes me how much stuff is still lingering in the air to be grabbed by the filter.

I bought this unit years ago but due to circumstances it was not used a lot. When I bought it I joined the filter club which I would use at this time but I cannot find the portal.
