Worst Design

I purchased 4 of these monitors for use in my office. My intention was to install them via a wall mount, to my dismay the "neck" piece that attaches to the stand does not disconnect from the monitor! Once installed the monitors look like heads with their neck cut off. This has got to be the greatest design oversight I've ever witnessed. I'm truly dissapointed, now I'm stuck with 4 monitors that defeat the whole purpose of wall mounting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second LG monitor, and as always, I am more than pleased. It is easy to use and looks great! The flat screen is fantastic and quality of the picture is excellent. The price is also very reasonable for all the features that you get with this monitor. I would highly recommend it for the home user!

More than expected for the price. Beautiful piano black case, sharp resolution with excellent color. Simple control features even though mine was perfect right out of the box. I'm getting a second to hook to my MacBook for viewing videos.

I'm seeing colors with this monitor that were invisible on my old LCD. I currently have it connected via VGA and am looking forward to even better quality after I swap out my video card and can go with DVI.

Needed a new screen that wasn't too large (due to limited space on my desk) and came across this monitor. Was competitively priced and offered the best energy rating. No regrets at all!

I wanted a bigger monitor as I was tired of my 15 inch. This took NO time to set up. The picture quality is great and it is SO easy to use. I would get this monitor again in no time.

My clunky old CRT monitor died, so I got this as a replacement/xmas gift.
The picture is incredibly sharp and crisp; it had the best display out of all the different makes/models in the store, comparing very well against the pricier high-end models.
Don't be fooled by it's (relatively) cheap price; if all you're wanting is a great picture, then there's no reason waste to your money on anything else.
It's lightweight (about 7 lbs, vs 50 for my old CRT) and sleek, with a very stylish design. I had no problems with dead pixels or bad spots anywhere on the display.
Glare was a real bad problem with my old monitor, but this new one has a very effective anti-glare surface and has drastically reduced the issue (to the point it's a non-issue).
It does NOT come with a DVD-I cable, however, so if you want/need one, you must purchase it separately.
The only "complaint" (if you can call it that) is that I had a bit of trouble initially installing the software on my computer, since I didn't have a working monitor and couldn't see what I was doing! A quick reboot or two took care of the issue, tho.
I am overall VERY happy with this monitor, and would happily recommend it to anyone.
