Beyond happy!

I just got this and I have hardly the words to say how pleased I am. I have waited a long time to get one of these. When I opened the box and took it out, the quality of the parts and solid base was immediately obvious. The power speaks for itself. Don't let the "affordable" scare you into thinking that it is less than other models. Honestly, if this kind of "affordable" were truly the affordable most of us are used too then we would live in a different reality but seriously...it does what I need, which is: blend veggies/fruit for quality blended smoothies. Creamy. That is the word. You don't get creamy with blenders bought from Walmart or Target. It makes all of the difference. Buy it...you will not be disappointed.

I just bought this a month ago and I am so happy I did. it is a genius blender and so much more. You have total control even if are not by the blendtec. you can be feeding the kids and stil have that perfect smoothie, ice cream or soup. it is a smart blendtec machine that can do a lot of different great things. You control the ingredients in your soups,milkshakes, peanut butter and what ever else you like by using fresh ingredients. So go to you tube and check out the ratings and recipes.
They are worth the money and I highly recommend the blendtec.

Great product excellent price

Even though I've had my Blendtec only a few days I just love it I like the fact that I don't have to figure out how long it takes to make a smoothie in the morning the button is right there you just push it and go about your business even though I have a vitamix the blendtec is much easier to use and a lot less costly I purchased this to get healthier and you can't put a price on good health...

A little disappointed in some of the features.

I have a Vita Mix machine but needed another blender for a different house. Decided to try Blendtec. I was disappointed right off when I decided to make soup and it suggested blending for several minutes and the machine kept shutting off after 50 seconds. I had to restart 4 times and it still wasn't very hot. I make soup all the time in my Vita Mix so this was a disappointment. It claims I can make ice cream in it, but with the 50 minute shut-off, I'm wondering how that will work. Haven't tried it yet.

Great value and functionality

The BlendTec is awesome. It works so well as a food processor too, even better than the vitamix if you are trying to pulse something. I just love it all around I make some great ,healthy smoothies now. It's so much more fun to use than my old blender that you had to put everything in slowly for it to really work. I just throw all my ingredients in and blend!

Best purchase I ever made. Love it! I make two smoothies a day for my husband and myself (this is two meals). Then we have a regular meal.

Simple & Well Designed

Really like the simple design, top of units fairly "spill-proof" all venting underneath unit, and well elevated. Strong motor. Easy to clean, as instructed. Really great, basic blender for smoothies. Hope they add a single-serve 20oz cylinder like our Ninja had.
